Picking the proper spray gun for your pressure washer is an easy process.
- You need a gun that will handle you systems maximum PSI.
- It must be able to handle your maximum GPM,
- You will need to know your systems maximum temperature especially if you are running a hot water pressure washer system.
Industry standard porting is typically 1/4” female national pipe thread for the lance or wand connection, and 3/8” female national pipe thread water connection.
Your larger GPM spray guns will require a larger, which is typically 1/2” female national pipe thread water connection. Standard spray gun porting has the water connection on the bottom of the gun with the lance connection approximately 90 degrees from the water connection on the front top of the gun. Also offered is the linear style gun with both ports on top of the gun 180 degrees apart. Also important the spray gun should be comfortable, especially when you could be operating your pressure washer for hours at a time.
